The ice is off Echo Lake so the boys and I  headed down for some open water fishing.  Using salmon eggs and marsh mellows, to keep our bait floated off the bottom, we faired pretty well.  We caught 12 fish in about an hour.  The largest about 15 inches but the boys had a good time on our first day out.  After this first trip we can't wait for the rivers to be flowing.
