Headed up to the pike lake for our trip.  The water was really high and cold.  3/4 of the lake was covered with ice.  We only caught ten pike on this first trip.  This is typical for conditions but hopefully next week will be better when I take up my family and Bill's family for a weekend.  We saw several moose but no bears, tough to hunt when they are not out.  This is a late spring anf I am sure we will seee tem next weekend.
