2009 Fishing Reports>
First King of the Season
Little Susitna -- May 21, 2009 -- Last night after school we headed down for a trial run on the river and fish for early season kings. We fished about 4 hours and had one strike, my father Jim Booth landed a 26.5 pound bright silver female. The boat ran great and the water conditions were excellent. It was a great trip when just to get a strike is a suprise this early in the season, the action really will not heat up for at least a full week.
