Fish for Alaska Silver Salmon out Palmer or Wasilla, Alaska just a short drive from Anchorage with Trophy Catch Charters. Silver Salmon enter the Little Susitna during the third week of July each year.  Their numbers are strong, in excess of 40,000 the last several years, and they are not alone.  During this same time of the year we will find Chum Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, and Pink Salmon.  Although our goal is catch Silver Salmon it is nice to have the likelihood of catching several species of Alaska salmon in the same day.  These are a strong aggressive fish that are known for their explosive jumping and aggressive biting.  With this combination it is not any wonder they have become one of the most popular sport fish in Alaska.
